Releasing an Album
December 10, 2006 | 1:40 pm
Recently I've been feeling that my music has reached the point at which it can be released digitally through iTunes and so forth. It may not reach many people, but it'll be a lot of fun, rewarding in and of itself.
So what I've decided to do is remix, remaster and —in some cases— redo the songs that make up the iComp "album" called "This Insubstantial Pageant." On my artist page, these are the tunes whose titles are preceded by ~TIP. Most significantly, the three instrumental tracks are having vocals added, and a fifteenth "bonus" track will be in the mix.
The album should be out early in 2007, probably mid- to late-February. The 15 songs will go at $9.99.
Heh. I'll probably make 100 bucks back in the entire year, but that'll take care of the initial investment. I'm releasing digitally through Tune Core, but I may do a physical release with CD Baby. Who knows.
