Biography
Hello,
How are you?
Really?
How awful.
Goodbye.
Anyways, I am Zip Zipper. I wish I had a better singing voice, but this one will suffice I guess. Still, I like making instrumentals. Sometimes, I don't understand why people can't appreciate the sounds that come from the instrumentals of music aside from just the lyrics. Without the obstruction of words, I think music allows the mind to imagine more in-depth than what lyrics force you to imagine. Although, I think that my mind's constant blabbering is the reason why I like instrumentals, since instrumentals let my mind make up the words for me.
Anyways, I am Zip Zipper. I'm young and naive. In accordance to icompositions, I like electronica, classical, ambient, some dance, some pop and the "other" genres. My greatest musical inspiration comes from Imogen Heap, Yann Tiersen, and Cirque Du Soleil. I hope to be like them one day but I have a lot of doubts. Many many MANY doubts. I learned to play the keyboard by ear as a young child and have been musically inclined since then. I also enjoy acting as well. And I also like to draw from time to time to let out the spiraling vortex of dark emotions splurging from my insides. Sometimes I do that through music too.
Anyways, I am Zip Zipper. Don't ask me where the name came from. I could have picked a better name but I didn't. So there. I consider my music to be a bit non-categorizable; it is a blend of differences. I love 3/4 and 6/8 time signatures, basically any sort of time signature that is a multiple of three. This could be highly due to my love for demented circus music, but that's just a theory. And that's basically where my really creepy sounding pieces come from. On the other hand, I have some pieces that have the repetitive and modern sound of electronic music. Some of my pieces combine the two. Classical versus electronic, ya' know?
Anyways, I am Zip Zipper. I spilled some of my guts into typing this. So now that you've reached the end, please listen to some of my music. Because words can be harsh parameters, so I guess it would have been best that you didn't read this at all.
