Biography

I am a 50 year old blues player originally from the Toronto area. I lived in the Turks and Caicos Islands through the mid 80's until '98 and now I reside in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.

I started playing bass at 15 shortly after my younger (and more talented) brother got a drum set. I switched to guitar with the purchase of a '58 Strat when I was 21. That guitar was sold to pay rent while I was playing around the Toronto area for a living!(regret that now, no way to ever afford another)

Now I record with Garage Band and Digital Performer and have fun in my "music room" with a minor collection of strats, my original P bass from '72 and a '63 reverse Firebird like Johnny Winter used to play. Johnny was my hero growing up and I've seen him play through the years maybe 30 times. I also enjoy Robben Ford, Warren Haynes, The Allman Brothers, SRV, Hendrix, all the big blues cats like BB, and Albert, Muddy, also harp guys like Little Walter, William Clarke, Kim Wilson etc....Oh yeah don't forget the B3 an awesome instrument on it's own.
